Full Time Programme

ATEC Multimedia Design Course



This course offers students both creative and technical skills to integrate two or more types of media in various media curriculum on a combination of audio, animation and text. By providing in-depth knowledge of multimedia design elements, ATEC students are able to handle the field on advertising & promotion, branding, interactive design and more.

At the end of the course, students will also learn to develop their own brand and creative business strategy via their Final Projects such as demo reel, final portfolio album, sketchbook and a series of self branding materials.





 CORE SUBJECTS


Graphic Design

Visual communicating art in 2D using text, images, and form to make visual connections and craft ideas into meaningful interactions. It includes the rules, histories, the theories and principles of graphic design.

Photography

Photography is a valuable industry that impacted us a lot  within this digital media era. The students will use their cameras as tools of exploration in order to search for inspiration or inspire the others through the power of photography.



Animation Design

Students will explore on the principles of animation and its processes. By the creative thinking and problem solving training through the projects, students’ technical skills and soft skills will be trained that demanded in the industry.  With the industry standard training concept, students will be part of this amazing animation industry very soon.



Webpage Design


By covering the web design trends and the practical skills on webpage design, students will be able to create a fully functioning responsive website. With project-based learning,  students are having the opportunity to create their own personal website to support their personal branding projects.


Video Production


This subject is to let the students expose to the tools and techniques of digital video production and learn how to compile creative, professional videos from pre-production to post production. Students will be given the opportunity to script, develop and shoot a short video project.


Digital Illustration


The subject helps students to start with getting the ideas on paper with a single pencil, discovering professional illustration techniques for creating great-looking artwork using deceptively simple elements. At the end, they will be able to bring their digital drawings alive with lighting, space, texture and atmosphere!
