HONOR Malaysia is partnering with local institutions such as ATEC College, Era Technology Communication Art & Design, Multimedia University (MMU), Taylor’s University, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), and Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR). This collaboration aims to empower students to represent Malaysia on a global stage by showcasing their most innovative artistic styles.
With over RM621,000 in total prizes, participants stand a chance to win HONOR’s latest products, including smartphones, tablets, and wearables. The cash prize pool amounts to RM547,000. The winners will be selected by a judging panel of renowned photographers and industry experts.
In addition to cash prizes and HONOR products, winners will enjoy several benefits, such as employment opportunities, having their work featured in HONOR products and exhibitions, expedited certification through the Developer Fast Track program, and an exclusive invitation to the Art and Tech Tour in China.
The newly launched Art and Tech China Tour provides winners with the opportunity to visit HONOR’s headquarters, partner universities, and institutions in China. This experience will allow them to gain valuable insights from fellow artists and industry professionals, enhancing their design skills and understanding of the industry.
The HONOR Talents Global Design Awards 2024 features two main categories: Visual Communication Design and Art and Technology. These are further divided into six tracks: Themes, Magic Lock Screen, Standby, Watches, Accessories, and Art and Technology. The Magic Lock Screen and Standby tracks highlight new features in HONOR's latest operating system, MagicOS 8.0, encouraging students to unleash their creativity and deliver visually stunning, personalized smart experiences for consumers.
